Hadfield in Macclesfield has been established in the town since 1755! They are Macclesfield’s oldest retail business, and Britain’s only remaining drysalter.

They stock an eclectic and evolving range for home, garden and individuals. For your home you’ll find supplies for preserving and homebrewing, fireside accessories, fabric dyes and fabric care products, and equipment and consumables to care for your home, including an extensive pest control range.

A particular focus is on eco cleaning. They operate a bottle return scheme for their chemicals range. Their gardening range comprises tools, seeds, fertilizers, plant care products and peat free composts. Many of their fertilizers and lawn care products are sold loose. You will also find a wide range of natural twines by Nutscene.

In their well-being range you’ll find essential oils, incense, our own handmade candles, bathing salts and eco personal care.
